In Memoriam: Chris Wood
It is with great sadness that we heard of the loss of Chris Wood in 2021. Born in 1963, his death came much too early. Chris was a great pioneer in kidney cancer, a widely respected colleague, and a much valued associate editor of Kidney Cancer. The editors of the journal offer their support and condolences to those he left behind: his family and friends, his colleagues, and his patients.

Use of Ibuprofen and Similar NSAIDs May Shorten Life of Patients with Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma
Anti-cancer properties of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications' promising anti-cancer properties have been highlighted by a growing body of data in recent years. However, a new study in the journal Kidney Cancer indicated that non-aspirin NSAID use was associated with shorter overall survival in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma.
